Hi! Hi. Again. :-)

Money! Money!
The Rich Don't Work For It!

What do the rich work for then? They work for the knowledge that will help them learn to leverage their money. In other words, they work to learn how to make their money work for them.

Click the picture It will take you places When we go to a job, we are paid for an hour of work. When that hour of work is complete, so is its ability to produce income. The rich learn to leverage that same hour of work by creating assets; an asset is defined by Rich Dad, Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki as anything that puts money in our pocket. So the rich use that same hour of work to produce ongoing income. That same hour of work may produce an income stream for life.

Kiyosaki points out that for most people a job is a temporary solution to a long-term problem. If you find yourself living from paycheck to paycheck, you probably understand what he means. The average person works for money instead of learning how to make their money work for them.

Click, click, click! If you find yourself in the position of working for an hourly wage - whether you are in business for yourself or working for another, then you may want to ask yourself how what you are doing is or could be creating a life-time asset. Aside from money, what are you working for? What skill are you learning or could you be learning that will allow you to create leverage?

BALANCE POINTS
FOR PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS

By Jeffrey D. Brown

What Are You Putting Up With?

All of the things you tolerate -- clutter, distractions, people who drain your energy, and other annoyances both large and small -- are costing you.

They are keeping you from having a quality life. At the very least, they are having a negative effect on you, draining energy and attention from the more important things in life.

Do something about what's bugging you! Make a list of at least ten tolerations and commit to resolving these energy-drains. Beginning today, take action to eliminate them from your life -- permanently!

Once you've gotten a taste of just how fun toleration-elimination is, try creating a "super-long tolerations list" for yourself. Compile a list of a hundred things that you're tired of putting up with and set aside some time each week to systematically eliminate them. As a coach, I've found that making such a list often ignites a kind of "toleration-solution engine" in my clients, leading to quicker resolution of many of their most common tolerations by helping identify and avert them at the source.

Most people say that when they eliminate a big toleration, they immediately feel more energy -- as if a tremendous weight has just been lifted! To have a quality life and be healthy, we need all the energy we can get. When you eliminate extraneous "stuff," you noticeably enhance your access to the energy that naturally flows through your life.

And that's what it's all about, right?

All the best to you. Jeffrey.

Four Ways to Maintain
A Healthy Level Of Insanity

1.  At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hair dryer at passing cars. See if they slow down.

2.  Page yourself over the intercom. Don't disguise your voice.

3.  Specify that your drive-through order is "to go".

4.  Tell your children over dinner. "due to the economy, we are going to have to let one of you go."

FOOD FACTS

Sweet and delicious, cherries are an excellent addition to your diet.  Cherries contain compounds known as anthocyanadins which are known to reduce pain better than aspirin.  18-35 cherries per day have reduced the pain of arthritis, gout and generalized inflammations.

Cherries also contain anticancer properties found to inhibit breast, ovarian and prostrate cancers as well as melatonin to help you relax and sleep.  Cherry juice can also be used to fight dental plaque and prevent cavities.  What an amazing summertime treat!

LIFE TIP

Each of our acts makes a statement as to our purpose. -- Leo Buscaglia

What is my purpose?  Am I acting in accordance with that purpose?

Success in life is not complex (See Lester Levenson quote if you think it is!): it is the result of simple, consistent, purposeful acts.

These acts are the result of acting on our feelings.   The results these acts produce, reinforce our existing feelings - if we choose to hold on to them.

We act how we feel.  If we feel confident, we act with confidence.  If we feel fear and anxiety, we do not take actions that would create the results we desire but instead reinforce these feelings by acting in a way that keeps us feeling "safe" or in "control".

If you want to learn to release any feeling that is preventing you from creating the life you desire, see The Sedona Method.
