I’ve heard some people talk about how they’ve taken medication intended for someone with ADD and that it’s helped them stay focused and have better concentration. Does anyone know what any of these drugs are called? I would like to talk to my doctor about it.

Additionally after looking at some of the answers I’m getting…I’m in graduate school, not a child and I do take fish oil everyday regliously, 4000mg worth (it’s for other purposes as well)
I’ve heard that listening to Mozart while studying can help improve concentration due to its particular arrangement but I find that listening to certain patterns of drumming while studying helps improve my concentration and focus tremendously. It seems though for most people it would do the opposite.

we need very good concentration power to succeed well in our life, but due to subsistivity, few time we are loosing our confidence level as well as concentration power. In this fastest world if we loose our concentration evn for 1 minute may be it will create big worries for us. so, we need to analyse how to improve concentration power. start now…
I’ve already done some searching in here but the answers don’t answer my question. I need help with this badly. I’m 17 years old, i don’t really do that well in school, in fact i always study on the last 5 mins be4 exam. I quit gaming etc and realized that i have to do well to get into university and get a good job and not waste my life, i’m not stupid or dum cuz i can get good grades easily but i just lack the enthusiasm and concentration in studying. I don’t really like studying and i get bored easily and even when i try to concentrate i think of something else randomly every time, i can’t sit down properly for 2 hours of study, i’ve tried playing sports and some entertainment be4 i study but they don’t help. I need really good advice on how to improve my memory so i can learn more in little time possible and most importantly improve concentration. My memory isn’t that good but i mainly need help in concentrating.
yea i’m not of a morning person, i’m usually very tired and i sleep early by the way, around 9:30pm everyday. I wake up at 7:50am for school, and i’m usually very tired during the day, so yea morning exercises etc don’t work for me. As for trying to get interest in reading, well i tried that and this is what i’m facing, i lose concentration easily.
I’m not the sort of person that’s able to follow a plan or goal, i set them in my mind but i’m too lazy to actually follow it……..in other words, i wanna do something but isn’t strong willed and determined, even though my mind wishes to be but i just can’t follow my goals etc.
